Changing the appearance of a picture in Microsoft Expression Web 3

It is quite useful to be able to edit a picture and its appearance while working with your web pages. You can do this by using the ‘Pictures toolbar’ or through the Appearance tab on the Picture Properties dialog box.

The toolbar has various buttons that help you set the dimensions, crop, rotate, flip a picture.

It also has options to change the display of the picture by adjusting its brightness, contrast, transparency, grayscale and also add a beveled edge to it. And yes, you can always revert back all your changes since you last saved your webpage, by clicking on the ‘Restore’ button.

The Appearance tab on the other hand has options like wrapping style, layout options and size specifications. You can use both of them to customize the look of the pictures in your webpage.

NOTE: The Picture toolbar has plenty of options to modify a picture, modify its appearance and create hotspots, resample images and such other.

The Pictures toolbar will now be docked below other toolbars. All the buttons except the first one would grayed out. The first button is to ‘Insert Picture From File’ which will enable you to insert a picture onto your page. To activate rest of the toolbar, select the picture.

eCommerce Wizard Driven Solution For Microsoft Dynamics GP

4. Going Crossing the international border.  If you are multinational corporation and you are expanding internationally with Dynamics GP (or you have to pick your Corporate ERP platform for the overseas facility) , Warehouse Management or eCommerce – there are several aspects of International Corporate ERP applications to be checked out.  The first one would probably be the Localization.  ERP localization includes translation to the foreign language and supporting targeted country Tax and Corporate Reporting legislation.  Currently with Microsoft Dynamics GP version 10.0 and 2010 (just released in May 2010) is localized in USA, Canada (including French Canadian version for Quebec/Montreal), Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Spanish  speaking Latin America, Oceania, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore.  Dynamics GP is also available in Arabic with reasonable level of localization for the Persian gulf countries and Saudi Arabia.  Dynamics GP has light translation to majority of languages (without tax compliance consideration) in Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Swedish, Dutch, German

5. International alternatives to Dynamics GP as potential ecommerce platform.  Our opinion might be subjective, we recommend you to consider SAP Business One as budget international solution or Microsoft Dynamics AX (here you have luxury Corporate MRP options, such as Process Manufacturing, for example)

How to use Personal Web Packages in Microsoft Expression Web

A Personal Web Package contains pages, files and folders. In Expression Web, you can export or package a website or a group of files or folders so that someone else can import it and use it in their websites.

Many dynamic web templates (DWTs) available for download on various websites are in the form of Personal Web Package.Download the Personal Web PackageDownload the web package you want to import and save on your computer.

By using Silverlight 4, Axinom’s team created a new user interface for AxCMS.net 10 that is optimized for improved usability and speed. WYSIWYG mode, integrated image editor, extended list views, and detail views of objects allow a substantial acceleration of typical editor tasks. Axinom’s team worked with Silverlight Rough Cut Editor for video management and Silverlight Analytics Framework for extended reporting to complete the wide range of capabilities included in the new release.
