Microsoft has launched Windows 10 worldwide on July 29. It was first available in New Zealand followed by Australia, India and other countries which include United States. According to Microsoft, Windows 10 will be available in 190 countries and 111 languages. Microsoft has arranged live events as part of the launch and to showcase the various features of Windows 10.

You will be able to upgrade to Windows 10 free of cost if you have a PC powered with Window 7, Windows 8 or Windows 8.1. However, you will not be able to burn it on a DVD. If you are a MSDN subscriber you can download it straight away from the Downloads page.

Windows 10 is designed to deliver improved computing experience across a wide range of devices such as PCs, tablets, phones, Xbox One, Microsoft HoloLens and Surface Hub.

Windows 10

Windows 10 Enterprise consists of advanced features and will be useful for medium and large sized companies. It will not be suitable for beginners and those who work with the computer first time.

I feel that Microsoft should include learning videos along with Windows 10 Education so that students will be able to easily get start with the new user interface in a minimum amount of time.

Windows 10 Mobile will be useful for mobile, touch-centric devices such as smartphones and tablets. If you buy a 8 or 10 inch Windows tablet, it will most likely contain this edition.

Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise will be useful for business customers and those who work with smartphones and tablets. This edition will be available only for Volume Licensing customers. Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise includes latest security and innovation features as soon as they are available.
